Hello everyone. I get on average fifty unique visitors a day. I know who some of you are but I'd love to know who else is reading. Please leave a message and say hello.
Have you installed Site Meter? It tells you from where in the world people are reading your blog. I had an interesting experience when I realized I was getting one hit a day from Tripoli ... hilarity ensued. Remind me to tell you about it some time.
Daphne I have a stat tracker which does much the same. So it gives me an idea who is reading it, but there are still some mysterious ones. Like the two different people in Ontario who spent ages reading the whole blog...
Hello there Jane I'm in Australia - have just found you via Ayak and am going to spend some time reading more of your blog. Take care Cathy Cathy @ Still Waters
I discovered your blog this morning on Ayak's blog and have spent a couple of enthralled hours peering into your life - thank you for sharing this and it is such a pleasure to read such beautifully-penned prose.
Thank you Vicky! It's always amazing to me that anyone reads this, let alone that anyone is enthralled by it. To continue with the tightrope metaphor that creeps up now and again, this blog is the thing I hold to keep my balance. In the absence of close friends here to witter on at, I pour it all out here. And it's lovely to get feedback from time to time so, thank you.
